We said farewell to Chester High School basketball coach Charles Haywood Byrd in August (Click HERE).

I loved Mr. Byrd.I had him as a gym teacher at Franklin School he was the best. He knew my family and he would always call me by my last name. When he saw me as an adult he called me by my last name. RIP Mr.Byrd
