Will Chester Community Charter be forced to close?

The Chester Community Charter School has not received over $9 million in subsidy payments this year from the Chester Upland School District, or the state, depending on who is responsible for paying.
Tomorrow, Ronald Tomalis, Secretary, Pennsylvania Department of Education, will be meeting in Harrisburg to discuss whether (and how) the Chester Upland School District, the Chester Community Charter, School, and the Widener Charter School will be funded through the end of the current school year.

Back on Feb 2, the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s legal counsel implied that any funding to be approved by the Commonwealth would specifically exclude the Chester Community Charter School.
So, I ask again, if they stick to their guns and don’t pay Chester Charter, will they stay open until the end of the year, or will over 3000 charter school students be walking the streets?

  2. If he doesn't need CUSD money to survive then why hasn't he used any of his "WELL" off finances in his schools, he always go to the district for money and never puts money back into the schools from all of the PROFITS that he is making off of your students!!!! You are right about 1 thing he is "Well off, very Well off...he's a major millionaire...and anygood business man knows you have to invest in your business....which he did, by donating over $300,000 to the Gov., so you're right CCCS students won't be walking the streets....but who is going to pay for them to stay in school if Vaugh Greugiran doesn't put some of his millions into his schools?
