$1 Coffee at WAWA for January

Wawa is a friend of The Chester City Blog. They will earn a lot more friends with the $1 coffee deal this month on any size coffee. 


Did someone say a Wawa is coming to Chester? Probably not, so head out to the Woods for your coffee (Woodlyn or Linwood).

    We need to get the powers that be to fight for the return of a Wawa to Chester...I know you know some power people and I know some power people, so let's get our peeps talking...:)!

    Does anyone remember when WAWA WAS in Chester? Its amazing how you never miss the water, til.....well, you know the rest :)

    22nd and Edgmont. I remember well. The Asians sell cheap hoagies out of there now. Or maybe that is their Shorty!

    Helen. Lets put it in that big lot on Highland Ave. Make a mega Wawa with a gas station and all the other stuff you do. Put up a big sign so the folks on i95 can get off and buy your gas.

    I am all for that, Stef!! There are imaginative ways to bring industry, market-style venues and progress to Chester City - I refuse to believe that there are places in Phila that have no problems setting up markets; it just seems that every argument still points to the unwillingness to have any venues for the citizens of Chester - So sad, so sad......

    Its probably happening in the backrooms but I don't see much effort to attract small businesses to Chester. The homeruns like Harrahs and the stadium sought out Chester and we are happy to have them. I am not sure what companies we are agressively or secretly going after. Who would rather see a Wawa where the new Autozone is sitting? Is it really so much easier to attract big businesses than small ones? Does anyone know who we are trying to attract?

    There has been so much talk of Entertainment venues at the Deshong site and such for years.....I still say that it is a benefit for larger industrial fare - not the citizens, Stefan....BTW-- Can you consider a post area for just general comments? You are so necessary in this city !! Love what you do :)
