Chester’s Crime is the Laughing Stock of the County

Can anyone stomach the comments that folks leave on the Delcotimes.com website on crime stories from Chester? As Daily Times editor Phil Heron reluctantly shared with me one day, ‘It always comes down to race.”
Today, there is a short blurb on Delcotimes.com about about a Chester man who was stabbed by his girlfriend with a utility knife.
The first comment reads, “Maybe Chester can start a utility knife buy back program? Or if you lose your utility knife, let the cops know or go to jail?”

Do you read or participate in the comments on Delcotimes.com? If so, why?

  2. I read them all the time just so I can know the types of people that live around us. So many people have given up on the residents and the city that it's a shame. The city is in a no win situation until it can get a grip on its crime.

I don't condone the comments they leave but at the same time, how can you help those that don't want to help themselves. It's as though the people have accepted things as the way it has to be.
