Even Philly is talking about living with White Folks

This upcoming edition of Philadelphia Magazine confirms that race is a hot topic. I guess I started a trend.

  3. Please-- don't read that article without reading the counter one published by the city paper. Huber's article (the philly magazine one) was filled with absurd bias and assumptions about neighborhoods and people that is a straight up flashback to the 1950s.

    1. Thanks for the link. I wish City Paper (and PW) came down to Chester. I love both of them.

I read the counter piece in the Daily Times by Ronnie Poaneczky and a listened to a full hour of discussion on Al Butler's show on WURD yesterday.

When I get a moment, I have a strong opinion to share on this wretched article, too. Stay tuned.

    1. Former Governor Jim McGreevey labeled himself as a Gay American when he came out the closet on national TV to resign. I thought that was a punk move.

I don't care if you call yourself African, Irish, Polish, Korean, Mexican, Canadian, Indian, or Uzbekistanian. We're all human and should be able to get along.
