Please-- don't read that article without reading the counter one published by the city paper. Huber's article (the philly magazine one) was filled with absurd bias and assumptions about neighborhoods and people that is a straight up flashback to the 1950s.
Former Governor Jim McGreevey labeled himself as a Gay American when he came out the closet on national TV to resign. I thought that was a punk move.
I don't care if you call yourself African, Irish, Polish, Korean, Mexican, Canadian, Indian, or Uzbekistanian. We're all human and should be able to get along.
