Chester testing for West NIle Virus


The City of Chester Bureau of Health is working with officials from Penn State Cooperative to conduct testing throughout Chester for mosquitoes infected with West Nile Virus as a precautionary measure and as a part of ongoing efforts throughout Delaware County.  

To date, no infected mosquitos have been found within the Chester City boundaries. Further testing will take place on Wednesday, August, 22nd, 2012 at 1:00PM. Results will be released to the public upon receipt.
