Citizen Bank Foundation supports Community Action Agency

Media – Edward T. Coleman, Chief Executive Officer, announced that the Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Inc. (CAADC) recently received a $10,000 donation underwritten by the Citizens Bank Foundation.  

The grant is for CAADC’s Emergency Fuel Assistance program and will help families that need oil assistance due to economic hardships during the winter.  

Mr. Coleman stated “With the economic downturn continuing to affect low- and moderate-income families, support from the business sector is needed more than ever.  This generous contribution from the Citizens Bank Foundation shows they are committed to helping their community during these difficult times.”     

The Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Inc. has been Delaware County’s designated anti-poverty agency since 1979. The non-profit agency provides a wide range of services aimed at encouraging self-sufficiency for low-income individuals.  The Agency’s website is www.caadc.org
