Families moving out of Chester due to School Situation

I’ve been told that I pick on the Chester schools too much. Therefore, I’ll point you to the other guys who come stronger than me.
With Delaware County's beleaguered Chester Upland School District nearing insolvency, some parents are moving out of the city or placing their children in other schools.

  1. I did not move but opted to put my kids in private schools.

There is help out there for the parents to fund the tuition they just have to do the research and apply themselves. I have recieved a good amount of scholarhips and programs such as A Better Chance but it is very competetive out there.

    1. How does closing the schools turn Chester into Media?

    2. Easy, get rid of what they deem as "problem people" and re-build the city, to a point, where it would be almost impossible to reside there.

  3. Since there is not enough property taxes being collected to help keep CUSD viable and functioning, the State is probably using this notion as its main objective to not fund CUSD.
