Free Seminar to Help Minority, Veteran and Woman-Owned Businesses  Gain Certification   


Chester, Pa.– The Widener University Small Business Development Center will host a FREE seminar on Thursday, Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. to help businesses gain certification as minority, service disabled veteran or woman-owned. 
The seminar will also explain the advantages of earning such a certification, which include access to exclusive support services and opportunities for both state and federal contracts. 
The seminar will examine the qualifications for obtaining government contracts.
This seminar is made possible by the Widener University Small Business Development Center, Procurement Technical Assistance Center, Small Business Administration and the Pennsylvania Department of General Service, with funding provided through a cooperative agreement with the Defense Logistics Agency.

The Widener University Small Business Development Center, made possible through funding provided by the Pennsylvania General Assembly, provides Delaware County small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with a wide variety of services and resources to help them start or grow small businesses.
