I couldn't understand why Byrd was charged with the murder of Andre Morales when the police shot him dead. But, this explains it.

If you notice first the casino now a soccer stadium. how the **** is that going to keep the up coming youth out the streets. tell me that. and its sad cause a cop shot him and they charged his friend for the body. like where the **** is the justice at in that???? I happen to work in Chester and see the all kind of things wrong, babies raising babies, no parents insight. drunks all over the place walking in front of your car and getting curse at and called all kind of names(which I prefer not to state). Wise up Chester soon it will not be there industries will leave and houses to make more room for other things.

ReplyDeleteOver the past few years iv'e notice a lot of programs for the chidren of Chester,I've also notice that many of the families dont find out about these programs until the newspaper articles appear saying what a great time everyone HAD.
This thug should have been working and not trying to stick up a card game. Damn right the cops should have blasted him. Here's a tip...who are we fooling, we all know where trouble is and "who" is trouble. If you stay away from "it", then there won't be any misunderstandings. If the youth are bored and want to have fun then let them pick up a book to better their situation.

ReplyDeleteGood point and one I brought up in a Chester Spotlight article a while back. A lot of the younger folks in Chester did not grow up with anyone who is currently on the force. Us older folks can name at least a half dozen classmates and playmates from our past and older officers our parents knew. I'd like to see more home grown police on the force. Although all police must live (move) within the city limits many of the new ones are not part of the community (churches, school district, social agencies).

There the reason why a damn case cant get solved.....they tell every woman or girl their trying to sleep with everything that goes on in the police station. Thats how the public knows soooo much. Also i wouldnt call Gorman a good cop...incase you didnt know he's been fired for beating a YOUNG BOY in the crown chicken on camera simply because the boy looked at him. The boys parents sued the police station. THe boy was seen eating his chiken and telling Gorman he didnt want any trouble. He beat the boy horribly and the stroe woners gave up the tape. I gues the kids arent the only ones with problems in CHESTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteDid anyone know that these kids were shot from behind when they were fleeing? I mean really do you think these kids actually jumped out a window camando style shooting? They were not special agents and so they jumped two at a time with no leg injuries too I suppose. And for those who dont know....the officer was shot by a fellow officer...that they are calling friendly fire...really? Morales was shot in the head twice and the butt again from behind. Law states when suspects are fleeing they are to be traced not gunned down. Shaq was shot 7 times....7....and another reminder that in news reports that the gun was recovered from inside the establishment but the JUMPED out the window and ran....does that sound as though they were armed at the time?

ReplyDeleteA threat to the public would be something like an armed robber who shot somebody then fled with a weapon. Or that crazy woman who shot up the Springfield Mall in the 1980s.
If these actors supposedly shot one person or had the intent to shoot, then the police are justified in shooting said actor while he flees for the safety of themselves or the public.
I'm sorry to disappoint you, however, arm/leg shots are impossible to make on purpose. Your public safety agencies are trained to shoot at the center of the threat. However, when you get adrenaline pumping and whatnot, you really can't control a whole lot. People are only human, after all.
If you guys don't like the police, then simply don't bother calling 911 when somebody is terrorizing your neighborhood.

I suppose Shaq and Morales were on their way to serve dinner to the homeless at the shelter and just got caught in the crossfire as the cops shot it out with the KKK...Now that is just as silly as your post
ReplyDeleteand to add to my comment two posts up....the 3rd shot person who was inside was also shot by the police. Who is now seeking legal representation. And again they did not flee with weapon in hand because the weapon was found inside the establishment. So again they were wrong in shooting those boys when they were running away. I have read every known article online and watched every news station as well and what they have said. I am not saying that there was not any type of altercation or that they were not participants in some way. The only problem is that they were pretty much gunned down and when you gun down a person who was being held "hostage" it says to me that they were just trigger happy and decided to ask questions later but...what...did the accidentally shoot a victim AND a fellow officer? Why? And then the confirmed time of death for Morales was 4:15 they let that boy lay in the alley for 5 hours....now why was that? It just seems as though another way to handle the situation would have been better being as though they were no longer armed when they ran. And to make it all "good" they are now charging his bestfriend with the murder. Who are they charging in the shooting of they guy who just so happened to be held up in the garage? They have no comment on that one nor have they released his name to the public but he has let it be known that he was shot first and asked questions later. Someone will pay for this and unfortunately it will be the tax payers expense for the trigger happy police.
