Look for Boston to beat up on the Lakers enough to win the finals. It all comes down to the big men and Boston is in much better shape than LA.
Bynum is hurt, Gasol is tired and Odom doesn't like contact. Artest can take a punch but he'll be so tired chasing Paul Pierce around the court that the rest of his game will be suspect.
Kobe will be Kobe, which is why the finals will be worth watching. But there is no way he can will the Lakers to overcome the bullies of Boston.
Boston in 6. And it won't be pretty.
I can honestly see Kobe putting up 40 in game one. Not only is he well rested, but he has such a good foundation to play with.. Lakers in 6 or 7… here’s proof with a prediction and gallery of both teams cheerleaders… http://www.lionsdenu.com/2010-nba-finals-los-angeles-lakers-vs-boston-celtics-preview-prediction-gallery-of-lakersceltics-dancers/
ReplyDeleteIt’s not that I don’t believe in Rondo and the big three (who are honestly ‘the final four’ now) but lets be honest… Kobe, Gasol, Artest, Bynum, Odom, Fisher will just be too much to handle!
Hooray! I have a Challenger. If I was Grant Hill I'd consider retirement after the clinic Kobe put on him. I expect the Celtics double team may be more effective. Reguardless, the game will be won in the front court. Advantage Celtics.
ReplyDeleteMr. Roots, I do not have your email address and I just want to talk about how fed up I am with politics. First, I thought it was hope with the Democrats and I was very excited about them winning but honestly they have not done anything but the same thing we sy the Republicans have done. Last night, the Mayor had a banquet for kids with high GPA at the Ramada. This was great, but then there was (3) scholarships distributed to seniors and Councilwoman Portia West daughter received a scholarship. I know it was politics and maybe it's me but I just that it was unfair.
ReplyDeleteWell so far, after the Lakers dismantled the Celts in game one, your prediction isn't off to a very good start!
ReplyDeleteLakers in 7, brave, brave post!
