If you watch the NBA, you can't miss Joey Crawford. There's not a night he isn't working 3 or 4 games at the same time, or at least it seems that way. Whenever there is a marquee game during the season or a big playoff game, you can bet Joey Crawford is there.

The old dude has been a NBA ref since I was in 11th grade and he can still run up and down the court with some of the best athletes in the world. Rarely do you see a player challenge his calls and you better not get in his face.

Crawford is the Godfather of NBA refs and has helped propel more than a few local guys into the NBA refdom (is that a word?). 

Next time you watch a NBA game, chances are you'll see Joey sprinting down the court ahead of the fastest point guard. He's a local guy so he deserves a shout out from the C-City Blogger.
