CHESTER CITY AND TOYS FOR TOTS DELIVER EARLY CHRISTMAS

December 19th and 20th at ChesterCity Hall.
CHESTER, PA- Department of Parks, Recreation, and Public Property, Director, Councilwoman Elizabeth Williams will host the United States Marine Corp Toys For Tots program, Thursday and Friday December 19th and 20th from 6-9PM at the Chester City Hall Community Room, in Chester, PA. The City of Chester has partnered with Toys for Tots for several years, providing holiday relief to the underprivileged, serving more than six hundred Chester families in years past. As an added feature to the gift distribution, Chester City employees collected items for raffle to assist the receiving families. Mayor John A. Linder and Chester City Council will raffle off seven baskets filled with turkeys and traditional holiday side dishes, at the kickoff pickup on Thursday. 


The Toys for Tots Program has distributed over 400 million toys throughout 216 million households since its inception. For further information regarding the city’s participation with the program, contact Duane Lee, Deputy Director of Recreation for the City of Chester at 484.318.0994.

  1. Duane Lee needs to thank Maria because she is the person that started Toy for Tots through the city. Mayor Linder WHAT is Duane getting paid for? Recreation in the city has continued to disappear since you have been in office.
