‘C-City Tech TV’ coming soon

Sitting with the guys watching Sunday football games turned out to be very cathartic especially when I heard my own words repeated out loud by one of the guys. 

“He’s not a reporter, he’s a blogger!” 

That sounded so much different coming out of someone else’s mouth than my own.

As popular and successful as the Chester City Blog has become, it will never be the site I intended it to be for three reasons: 1) folks don’t like to offer comments 2) Agencies and organizations don’t like to offer submissions 3) I don’t like to do interviews and investigations.

I do like sports which is why I printed a ‘Sports Spotlight’ paper just to test the response (which was incredible). I do like technology which is why I’ll be launching a site dedicated to sharing tech topics in a fun and easy to understand format. 

The Chester City Blog won’t go away and with more comments and submissions it has a lot of potential to increase its relevance, however, I still don’t anticipate that I’ll be chasing ambulances or doing many interviews. That’s work for a real journalist. 

So, be on the lookout for a new blog covering topics designed to reduce the anxiety of technology.
