Ruth L. Bennett Home renovation warning

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is certainly keeping their end of the bargain by pouring $1,000,000 into the renovation of the Ruth L. Bennett properties on Rt 291 and Reaney Streets.

Who really believes the existing Ruth L. Bennett board is prepared to do anything with these properties when work is complete later this year? 

Is the state wasting our money on a renovation with no purpose, or, is there some entity lurking in the wind waiting to snatch these properties up for their use?

As with all good suspense stories, I suggest you stay tuned because I have a feeling that if there continues to be no reasonable plans proposed by the board to turn the newly renovated buildings into something worthwhile, the State will not allow our $1,000,000 to be ripped off by the neighbor thieves who will surely break into these unprotected buildings and take whatever they want as soon as the construction fences come down.
