Chester student gets big awards at University of Maryland Eastern Shore


Ebony Thomas of Chester received three awards during her convocation: Department of Natural Science Departmental Honors, Most Outstanding Student in the school of Agriculture and Natural Science, and The Richard Bernstein Award of Excellence.

The Bernstein Award was the pinnacle of honors among those given to some 1,600 UMES students recognized for academic achievements within their respective schools and departments.
