MAYOR LINDER AND COUNCIL WELCOMES SENIORS FOR MAYOR’S ANUAL LUNCHEON

Hon. Mayor John A. Linder hosted his annual Seniors Christmas Luncheon accompanied by Chester City Council, with the support of the Mayor’s Senior Advisory Board, his Office of Constituent Services and city personnel, this past Thursday afternoon.

Several seniors from Chestnut Ridge, Matopos Hills, Wellington Ridge, Edgemont Senior Apartments, Stinson Towers, and Chatham Estates, among other residencies throughout the city, participated in prize contests, holiday and gospel musical performances, and a Christmas Feast courtesy of Amir’s Catering. Mayor Linder’s Senior Advisory Board coordinates and facilitates information exchange between Chester City Seniors and their concerns within civic government. “We certainly hope everyone enjoyed fellowship with us to celebrate the season, and the city’s treasured senior residents” Mayor Linder.
