Where did Chester Talent Go?

A Garnet Valley girl won Chester idol and a Philly act won second place. Delco Idol is going on in Media now, and of the 35 contestants, not a single one is from Chester. 

The Chester Children’s Chorus is widely celebrated, but is this a case of performing better as a group than as individuals? (which isn’t uncommon in black church choirs). 

Are our kids afraid to compete or are they not being exposed to the competitions?

Or maybe there just isn’t any musical talent in Chester anymore.
