Billy Paul returns to Chester

State Rep Thaddeus Kirkland is bringing back Billy Paul on August 4th for his Across Colors Cultural Festival held in Eyre Park next to Chester High School.

Local performers include Bruce Anthony, Barbara D. Mills, Blind Date Band, Dreamcatchers, Point Blank, and Gospel Disciples.

I saw Billy Paul at an earlier Across Colors event and he was very impressive. Despite his years in the business, his voice is still as great as it was during his great recordings in the 70s.
What’s your favorite Billy Paul song?
  • Am I Black Enough for You
  • The Whole Town’s Talking
  • Thanks for saving my life
  • Only the strong survive
  • This is your life
  • War of the Gods
  • I’m just a prisoner
  • Me and Mrs Jones

  5. My favorite Billy Paul song is "Me and Mrs. Jones". He was a regular around Chester back in the 70s, Star Dust, Carosal, and others bars.
