Your friend may have had a terrible time, but the show was not terrible.
In my opinion, a terrible show has at least one of the following elements: it starts late, the talent is drunk or high, they sing or play out of tune, they are rude to the audience, it ends too soon, the sound is bad.
None of that occured.
During his last song when he asked the crowd to come forward, the stage was mobbed. The line for the meet&greet after the show was at least 200 people deep.
When you have a popular artist with popular songs, people enjoy singing along. That's one of the reasons you go.
Unless your friend was expecting a full band, there was nothing disappointing about the show.
We should thank Harrah's for bringing Brian McKnight and encourage them to bring a lot more R&B artist to Chester.
