I was upset by his child like response to our children. Two wrongs don't make a right Mr. Kirkland should have taken the students into City Hall sat them down and talk to them
That's the problem that we have in this city. When chidren disrespect adults and especially disrepect our state representative, they need to be reminded who the adults are. In response to Anonymous, "Mr. Kirkland should have taken the students into City Hall...", Rep. Kirkland is the state representative, not the mayor, idiot.
Mr. Kirkland should have been leading the charge when the budget cuts were coming down, he should have rallied his supporters and worked with the school board to rally more support from the community instead of waiting for the media to show up as usual....
blind parents leading students who just getting involve was upset state rep didnt show for a planning meeting. Parents and students this was very embarrassing and disrespectful...the Democrats in Chester ALWAYS been fighting for you when people was not there..know the people who are helping you!! the Governor and state senator is just sitting back laughing at you all.
Stop it, Stop it, Senator PELLIGI helped you get 10,000.00 in the beginning when the cuts were enacted, now how much did HR Kirkland get????? Can he get another 10 or shut up and go back to school or home.
Open your eyes people. Kirkland is all noise, no substance. He has made a career of fooling the less informed, anyone with an ounce of sense can see how he continually pulls the wool over everyones eyes. He's all air. Even when there was a democratic governor he still managed to do nothing but raise hell and not money. Throughout this financial crisis how much did he get, oh thats right, it was Pileggi that got the district 10 million. Be serious, a man of the cloth telling a child to shut up, he is a disgrace and an embarrasment to professional people of color. Shame on you residents of Chester who keep voting him in office. Would you vote for him if he told your child to shut up, probably. The only person he got money for, $120,000 to be exact was for his son in law and that joker doesn't even live in the State. Welcome back to the Barbara Bohanon-Shepard days. We are officially the laughing stock of Delco, the Daily Times are sure going to make a lot of money off of the fooliry of the "new Chester"!
HR kirkland does not do anything for the City or Chester. He is a compromised HR, His job is tourism for the State. Guess what, tourism is Harrah's, PPL Park, etc. LOL. "Wake Up Everybody" in my Teddy Pendergrass voice.
City Hall is a public building Anyone should have acess Mr KIrkland is a friend of Our Mayor I am sure it would have been okay. I think this would been better than SHUT UP From one Idiot to another
should our elected representative show such disrespect to the children by screaming at them to "shut up"? should anyone scream at children that way? He owes them a public apology.
you must remember mr.kirkland was a drug seller and user . he help create some of our school problems. if you can remember he fought hard for the state to take over our school. oh ! you forgot that. he is a minister not GOD.
Thaddeus Kirkland has done so much for the City of Chester and its residents! He has fought for the CUSD more than any elected official in the world.. and for your information he did take kids in his office that dat and talk to them, thats how they came up with the meeting at the school today..
Could you be more specific as to how Rep. Kirkland has done so much for the City? Can you enlighten us with how many original pieces of legislation he has sponsored and shepherded through the legislative process that have become law that have helped us? After all, isn't the primary role of a legislator actually to legislate which is make laws for our betterment? Again, what has he done in that area for Chester? We've obviously all seen him at ribbon cuttings(at times for projects to which he originally objected like Harrah's - hope you enjoyed the inaugural ball down there on Saturday), or we've seen him jump on the hot button issue of the day and point the finger of blame on others. That may be fighting and amen to that, but in a battle, you'd like to think you could win a few for all the hard work and effort. What has the city won from his "fight"? Go ahead, I'll wait for you to come up with some more rhetoric and nothing specific!

DeleteWait, is he actually yelling "shut up" to kids? Thanks, Reverend, for being such a positive role model to our children!
ReplyDeleteWe really don't know who he's yelling 'shut up' to.
DeleteEven if it was an adult, seems like it could have been handled better than that.
DeleteHe should not be talking to anyone like that....... He is a thug........ Just look at his past history.......
ReplyDeleteNEVER JUDGE A PERSON ON THEIR PAST JUST THE NOW. IF THE RESULTS ARE SIMLIAR THEY DID NOT LEARN A LOT. FLASHY, LOUD, RUDE, IS NOT CHANGE.
DeleteI like the above response, "Never judge a person on their past, only the present," this is educational right here!!!
