Chubb Rock is in a Special Class of Black Entertainer

Chubb Rock is best known for performing the hip hop anthem 'Treat Em Right', but did you know that he is also a former National Merit Scholar who attended Brown University as a pre-med student before pursing his rap career?

Also worthy of mention is Ryan Leslie, hiphop and R&B star, who scored a perfect 1600 on his SATs and graduated from Harvard at the age of 19.

In my opinion, the most impressive black entertainer is David Allen Grier, comic, who was a child prodigy of chess and music and was indoctrinated into MENSA, the society of geniuses. He speaks about 10 languages, an expert diver, and has photography in MOMA, The Guggenheim, and The Louve, and has a few other interests that he’s mastered. He has a Masters from Yale but may be best known as Antoine Merriweather on 'In Living Color'. His father wrote the book 'Black Rage'. And they were so wrong for cancelling 'Chocolate News'.
