Chester's Stupid Criminals

Body Central at Granite Run Mall on Nov. 15.
A 23-year-old man and 20-year-old woman, both of Chester, threatened to beat up the victim after a dispute over purchasing some products from the store and whether there should be a discount, State Police said. It was later determined that the man was wanted by the Delaware County Sheriff's Department.
The above information has been supplied by the Pennsylvania State Police-Media Barracks. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

  1. I was wondering if you could post all the shootings and shot fired calls that happen over the weekend, and if you could tell us when is the city going to hire more police officers? They are out maned and gun. Was is there only 6 detectives on that police department, that shows why there are to many homicides that are not solved each year? Could you please ask the new mayor when he is going to put more police on the street and more detectives. Thank you scared citizen.

  2. Wonder no more. I don't report on violent crime.

The city will hire more police officiers when Chester is no longer under Act 47. Currently, we have all the officers that the law allows.

Are you more concerned with preventing shootings or solving shootings? I'm not sure more police can prevent shootings. But, more detectives may help find the bad guys.

  3. Thank you, I think if you have more police on the streets showing a presence you would see alot of violent crime drop. I pray that all these incidents can be prevented not just from a police presence. One car for each sector is not going to do it. More violent crime needs to be solved faster. That would show someone thinking of committing a crime that he or she could face the consequenes. And I think you should report crime and get the word out there that we the citizens have to help or nothing will change. More police and detectives would be a good start. Act 47, well the casiano is giving a bunch of money to the city use some of that to hire 100 more police. When are we going to be out of ACT 47? And why would the state put a number on police if the area calls for more protection? These men and women have a dangerous job, and why are they not in two man cars at night, very dangerious?
