Today, District Attorney G. Michael Green held a press conference at Chester Police Headquarters to announce the filing of charges and the early morning arrests of James Armstrong and Rashad Ishmail who have been charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of Eric Caldwell on May 27, 2007.
The murder of Eric Caldwell has been the subject of investigation by the:
- City of Chester Police Department,
- Criminal Investigation Division of the Office of the District Attorney
- Cold Case/Grand Jury
- Violent Offender prosecutor units of the Office of the District Attorney.
DA Green was joined at the press conference by, City of Chester Police Chief Darren Alston, lead detectives, Deputy District Attorney Stephanie Wills, Assistant District Attorney James Halligan and members of the U.S. Marshals for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
