Chester proclaims March as Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month


Today at the city council meeting, Mayor and Council declared March Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and March 4, 2011 as “Dress in Blue Day” for Colorectal Cancer in the City of Chester. Attached is a picture of Mayor Butler and Patricia Hollenback, nurse navigator for Crozer Regional Cancer Center.

Crozer-Keystone Health System is offering free Colorectal Cancer screenings. Screening appointments are  recommended for those over the age of 50 or younger if there is a family history.
