Chester Presents Union Square Urban Design Plan


WHAT: The City of Chester’s Planning Department will host a community meeting to present the Union Square Urban Design Plan on Thursday, February 24, 2011. The purpose of the meeting is to present the community design recommendations for improving neighborhood conditions, creating connections to the Delaware River waterfront, and integrating economic development activities into the neighborhood fabric. The urban design plan is funded by a grant from the Pennsylvania’s Department of Community and Economic Development and the Pennsylvania Coastal Zone Management Program. 
WHO: Chester residents, community members and interested parties are encouraged to attend the meeting to learn about the plan and provide comment. CHPlanning, an urban design and planning firm located in Chester, will lead the presentation.
