I have a feeling this survey wasn’t taken too seriously based on the results
And then I looked at the question and realized that I blew it. I should have indicated for the Senate and House questions whether I was seeking answers to the US or State seats.
Six people voted that the Republicans in the Senate and House would win.
In the State, those 6 survey voters were correct. There is now a Republican majority in the Senate and House.
In the US, there was a very slim chance that the Republicans would win the Senate, and they didn’t. But, they took the House.
Seven voters were correct choosing that we’d end up with a Republican governor.
Seven voters were wrong to select we’d have a Republican State Representative.
The majority of the votes (15) felt that Democrats would win all the elections in this survey. I will assume these people voted with their heart and not their mind.
Clearly, the Democrats were going to take a lot of losses around the country.
Yes, you are right. I could not make heads or tail out of this survey so I could not participate in it. I know it was about the election but it just did not make sense to me.
ReplyDeleteBut shame on Pennsylvania for the way they voted or did not come out to vote at all. Don't you all remember what it was like under Governor Ridge. Your voting made no sense to me. Didn't the word get out to the Blacks to vote? Don't you remember what folks did in the past for our voting rights? Shame on you PA!
And now we won't get anything passed between the Congress and the Senate with one Republican majority and the other Democratic majority. It's going to be a stalemate. I am so outraged by these election results. You just abandoned Obama's policies and good intentions.
