Delaware County Homeless Shelters Need Thanksgiving Donations

MEDIA- The Emergency Shelters of Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Inc. (CAADC) are collecting food donations to help make Thanksgiving a more joyful time for families and individuals that are homeless.
CAADC operates three shelters for families and one for single individuals in Delaware County.
Food donations that would be appreciated include: turkey or ham, instant potatoes, gravy, canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, bread or rolls, stuffing and desserts.  A donation of a $10 gift card for a local grocery store would be a great help as well.
If you are able to help, please deliver your donation to the Colony Shelter at 511 Welsh Street in Chester, PA 19013 on or before Tuesday, November 23rd.
Please contact Robin Mitchell at (610) 891-3996 with any questions.
The Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Inc. has been Delaware County’s designated anti-poverty agency since 1979. The non-profit agency provides a wide range of services aimed at encouraging self-sufficiency for low-income individuals.  The Agency’s website is www.caadc.org
