WHAT: The City will celebrate the official grand opening of the George E. Carter Center, new home of the Chester Boys and Girls Club. As part of an effort to expand recreational opportunities for Chester youth, the city has worked diligently over the past several years to provide a new recreation center, allocating more than $2 million to make this project happen.
WHO: Mayor Wendell N. Butler, Jr., City Council, state and county officials, Senate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi, State Representative Thaddeus Kirkland, Chester Boys and Girls Club staff and board members, Chester youth.
