I just got off the phone with my mom and asked what she was doing today. She said that she’s getting ready to go shopping at Pathmark and Sam & Sam.
Well! I guess she represents a typical Chesterite who spreads their grocery shopping between Pathmark (18), Shoprite (12), and Sam & Sam (11). Of the remaining twelve choices, no one received more than three votes which was particularly interesting considering that Giant is right next door to Pathmark in Brookhaven.

Why is it that Pathmark is the only store that sell Salmon Steak?
ReplyDeleteI couldn't vote because I don't shop at one particular store. Sometimes I find myself going to a couple stores because one doesn't have what I want to buy. I have shopped at most of them forcing me to spread my money around.
I love going to Pathmark for the cheap produce rack and the dented cans! Too many stores don't offer that any more. As far as Giant goes, they're significantly more expensive than Pathmark. When I have time though, I love Trader Joe's in Media.
