Raul Midon is the most talented unknown in music today. He plays an amazing guitar, has a voice like Donny Hathaway and is permanently handi-capable with blindness. He comes through Philly at least once a year at the World Cafe.
The story is really on Hathaway but since NPR found my favorite performer (besides Stevie Wonder) for a comment, I thought I'd share.

That's it for blogging tonight. I'm now in my Rhapsody.com library jammin to my Donnie Hathaway selections. 'Put your hand in the hand', 'He ain't Heavy, He's my brother', 'What's goin' on', 'Yesterday', 'Superwoman', 'A Song for you', ' Sack full of dreams', 'You were meant for me', Someday we'll all be free' and so on.
What's your favorite Donnie song?
