This event is sponsored by Bethany Baptist Church Youth Ministry, the concert will feature the Singing Sensations of Baltimore, directed by former Chester resident Dr. Hollie Hood-Mincey.

She is CEO and founder of YES2 (Youth Educational Singing Society) which provides performing art opportunities to at-risk and underprivileged students in Baltimore City. Today, YES2 provides opportunities to students ages 4 to 18 from all over the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. The Singing Sensations Youth Choir operated under the YES2 umbrella and services approximately 150 students, pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade.
The Singing Sensations Youth Choir presents a great opportunity to strengthen the bond of partnership in the arts between Baltimore City and County Public Schools, Maryland State Colleges and Universities, as well as, with Educational Institutions Nationwide.
For more information, interested persons should call 610-874-8143.
p.s. Since Bethany is in one of the ‘hot zones’, will they need a permit for their gathering of 2 or more people, especially since it will likely let out after 9pm?
I hope you don't mind but I refuse to label this an Anti-Violence Concert. Just have church and enjoy.
