WHAT: On Thursday, June 24, 2010 the City is holding its second Mayor’s Anti-Violence Night Out Tour, at the Bennett Homes, 11th & Tighlman Streets, Chester, Pennsylvania, located within one of the five curfew zones. With the City extending the State of Emergency for an addition 30 days to help bring peace to the streets, Mayor and Council is asking everyone to come out tonight and stand together for unity in the community.
Until Aug. 19, the Mayor’s Night Out Tour will take place every Thursday night at various locations around the city indentified as “hot spots” by the Chester Police Department. At the locations, there will be activities, entertainment and residents will receive literature and materials. Guest speakers will empower with a message to take back their community.
