Chester Spirit paper changes name again

Me and Paul A. Bennett, Publisher/Editor of Spirit.
(No, it's not my paper for those of you still wondering)
It started as the Chester Spirit. Then they branched outside of Chester and started another paper, the Community Spirit. Then they combined the two papers in one with the Chester Spirit read from front to back and the Community Spirit read from back to front (awkward to say the least). Then, they just combined the name and it became the Chester/Community Spirit.

I always referred to it as the Community Spirit. My logic suggests that Chester is part of the larger community and shouldn't be singled out, therefore if the paper has two names, I'm going for the Community.

I just noticed on the latest issue that Chester and Community are gone. It's just Spirit - Serving Delaware County. Not to be confused with the Delaware County Daily Times, the Spirit has a different audience, or mission, or objective, or something.

At least we finally got away from the us (Chester) and them (Community) mindset. I like the new name.

I'm still trying to understand why the paper lists a 25 cent price tag but I always get it for free. Am I stealing?

    1. There is a reason the 25 cents is on the paper but it has nothing to do with its cost. I'd rather not write the real reason. It could ruin our friendly relationship.
