Mayor John Linder and Google creating FREE websites for businesses
Get Your Business Online provides small business owners with a custom domain name, web hosting and access to educational resources -- all free for one year.
Eh. This effort would probably would have had more of an impact on me if Chester had enough sense to post their Business Privelege request form on their forms page, http://www.chestercity.com/index.php/forms-and-permits BEFORE asking businesses to partner with Google.
Wouldn't you want businesses to partner with your own city, FIRST, before generating eventual revenue some other entity??
A business owner has to go all the way down to city hall just to get a form, if they want a Business License. Yet, our mayor is in this cotdamn music video with Google talkin' bout "Step into the the new millenium, yaw!!"
This video is on the City's website....but not the Business License form. *bangs my head against the wall* sheesh.
I'm annoyed. This city is f***ing chaos, I tell ya.
Nicely done, Mayor Linder!
ReplyDeleteIndeed. I'm going to take advantage of this myself.
DeleteMake a video about Chester businesses accepting debit/credit transactions!-Chris R.
ReplyDeleteAnd the point would be, what?
