First, there’s all this hype about the school superintendent
going door-to-door to recruit 300 students in an effort to keep a couple
schools from closing, then they hush right up when asked how many people they
recruited.
Becky Taylor, spokeswoman for Watkins, said the receiver was not releasing the number of students the district has enrolled since its rally last week.
That’s no way to run a business. We can only assume they didn’t reach their target or else
they’d be celebrating and giving us more hype over what a good job they did to
recruit 300 students.
But, we shouldn’t be surprised to receive the usual lack of
information. How that endears a community to you, I’ll never know.

DeleteSo when is Chester Community going to build a high school? Surely the school has the money. Why all of these K-8 schools? CCC should stop hiding behind Chester High. Build a high school so everyone can see the real results of their students educational outcome once they leave the confines of CCC's k-8 schools.
