Way to go Susan Rice

She's either too pretty or too smart, or both, but she was catching a lot of heat trying to become the President's pick to replace Hillary Clinton. I'm sure there are more than a few folks toasting a few cordials with this Obama defeat.

The Rice haters seem to like John Kerry, so I expect that the President is ready to move on and go along with their wishes.

But, to Ambassador Rice, we understand. There have been some great women before you in that job and there's no doubt that you would have added to that count. But, we hated to see you go through all that unnecessary scrutiny and name calling. 

We see our President getting beat up everyday. We don't really want to see you have to take it on the chin, too.

Keep you head up and let them have their toasts.
