Hon. Mayor John Linder, in the company of his City Council members, State Representative Thaddeus Kirkland, Senator Dominic Pileggi, Delaware County Council, PHEAA President, James L. Preston, and several Delaware County and City Officials, welcomed PHEAA, the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, to its new home on the Chester City Waterfront, during a press conference held by the agency.
The new PHEAA offices will be located at the Warf on The Riverfront and promise to employ one hundred and fifty area workers following its completion.
“Certainly this is a major opportunity for Chester”, Mayor Linder conceded, “Further, a much needed boost for our economy directly impacting families here in Chester”.
