Widener University Physical Therapy Students and Faculty to Offer Free Mobility Clinics in Honor of Dr. King
Clinics Offered Jan. 13 and 16 throughout city of Chester
(CHESTER, Pa.) Jan. 9, 2012 – The Widener University Institute for Physical Therapy Education will honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with free mobility clinics throughout the city of Chester on Friday, Jan. 13 and Monday, Jan. 16. At each clinic site, students and faculty will screen and clean scooters, wheelchairs, walkers, crutches and canes to ensure that these assistive devices are in optimal condition. In addition, each site will offer blood pressure screenings.
The community is invited to attend any of the following mobility clinics in Chester:
Friday, Jan. 13
10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

- Stinson Towers, 1501 Arbor Dr.
- Palmer House Apartments, 1420 Esrey St.

- Matopos Hills Senior Apartments, 925 John St.
- Salvation Army, 151 W. 15th St.
Monday, Jan. 16
10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
