The Chester Farmer’s Market has been a flop despite all the good press, political support, redirected streets, free goodies at the non-violent march, signs on Rt 291, and good food.

In my conversation with owner Dan King, he says they did far more business with their outside grilles on 7th and Kerlin before being forced off the block a couple years ago. 

Does this mean that Chester folks would rather eat their chicken from an outdoor shack as opposed to an indoor rotisserie?

Based on these results, there is no way a supermarket would consider coming here.

Or, is there some other reason we are not shopping at the Chester Farmer’s Market.
