On Feb. 10, PCTV invites aspiring filmmakers to help launch “The Documentary Project”, an opportunity “to learn by doing”, says PCTV Director George McCollough, an award-winning documentarian who is one of the co-leaders of this collaborative project.
An example of McCollough’s work, “Laid to Waste”, was featured in the recent Environmental Film Festival at the Princeton Public Library. “Laid to Waste” is a critically-acclaimed case study in environmental racism in the late 1990’s, based on industrial waste disposal in the community of Chester, PA.
