Media, PA --- The Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Inc. (CAADC) is operating free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites for a fifth year. This year CAADC will be hosting three sites serving low- and moderate-income families in Delaware County. All the sites will be staffed by IRS trained and certified community volunteers and will aim to serve families who qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit and the Child Tax Credit. The free sites will be located at the Colony Building at 511-13 Welsh Street in Chester, PA 19013, the Toal Building at 2nd and Orange Streets in Media, PA 19063 and Sharon Hill Commons at 401 Sharon Avenue in Sharon Hill, PA 19079.
The sites will begin operation on January 24th and will continue through April 22nd. All three sites are by appointment only and have hours Monday through Saturday. To schedule an appointment please contact Jennifer Levy at (610) 891-6327.
