Focus Groups on media images of black males

MEE Productions is working with the William Penn Foundation to conduct a series of focus groups about media images and portrayals of young Black males.  
MEE needs your help identifying participants for these focus groups.  MEE is recruiting Black men between the ages of 19 to 30 years old and service providers/employers for focus groups during the week of December 13, 2010.
During these focus groups we will be discussing how media images impact and influence the perceptions of various sectors of society.
All groups will be held at: 
MEE Productions Inc.

Philadelphia, PA 19107
 The focus groups will be held on the following dates and times:
  • Tuesday, December 14, 2010, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Black Males (ages 25 - 30 years old)
  • Wednesday, December 15, 2010, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Service Providers/Employers (who educate, train, mentor, supervise or hire Black males)
  • Thursday, December 16, 2010, 
    6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, 
    Black Males (ages 19 - 22 years old)
All focus group participants will receive $50 CASH as compensation for completing the focus groups.

  1. Focus groups are a powerful means to evaluate services or test new ideas. Basically, focus groups are interviews, but of 6-10 people at the same time in the same group. One can get a great deal of information during a focus group session. Thanks...
