It's not a good time to be a black political leader these days. With the big guns pointed at President Obama, many other experienced black pols are catching it. Charles Rangel may have dug his own grave, and Maxine Waters seems to be soon to follow. Even Michael Steele may be polishing his resume.
It's tough to see one of the good guys take a hit, but Dwight Evans was no slouch and made a big impact in the state and with his West Oak lane constituency.
