Hothead Chester cop or family man?

Chester Police Officer Joshua Dewees, whose alleged misbehavior sparked a protest out front of the police station last year, is back in the news this morning. Again. Another civil-rights lawsuit has been filed against the 28-year-old officer, and his attorneys recently settled two of the previous suits.

  1. I remember reading something about him last year breifly, so do we think he is a hothead or are people getting smarter on how to have their cases thrown out is the question....huh? Well it is probably a little of both, the first 2 cases were probably legit, and the bonus was having the case thrown out I'm sure word got out and someone made the correlation between the 2 and it grew from there, but I am willing to bet that there is some overzelousness here on behalf of this officer; he is young and more then likely is working in Chester due to pay, since Chester is a City and pays better then most bouroghs in the county not to mention we have more full time positions availialbe then the other departments in the county.....Well I guess we will have to see how this plays out, one question though....Where did the "family man" come from, no mention is made in the article about him having a family.

  2. he will get away with it because he is white in a black town. suspension means nothing to him because his job is not threatened, he only took a vacation.

  3. SORRY THAT THIS OFFICER JUST CAUGHT UP IN HIS BEHAVIOR ON THE STREETS AS A RESIDENT I'VE SEEN HOW SOME OF THESE OFFICERS CAN BE AND ALOT OF IT IS NOT NICE. NO I HAVEN'T HAD A PROBLEM WITH ANY CAUSE I STAY AWAY FROM THEM ALL TOGEHTER BUT YOU CAN REST ASSURED THAT HE IS PROBABLY NOT THE ONLY POLICE OFFICER IN CHESTER THAT IS NOT SO NICE. THEY ALL WILL BE CAUGHT UP SOONER OR LATER AND I PRAISE PEOPLE FOR FINALLY STANDING UP FOR WHAT THEY BELIEVE IS RIGHT. NOW ITS TIME TO STAND UP AND HELP BRING SOME OF THESE KILLERS TO JUSTICE..
