There are still a few spaces available at 4-H Summer Specials Day Camp at the 4-H Farm and Educational Center in Newtown Square. Youth ages 8-13 (as of 1/1/10) are invited to participate. There are two weeks of day time sessions remaining at the Farm, which is located on Bishop Hollow Road. Morning and afternoon sessions are available Monday through Thursday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-2:30 p.m. during the weeks of July 19-22 and July 26-29. All day sessions and extended day child care are also available, with a potpourri of 4-H activities offered in addition to projects listed in the brochure. Campers must bring their own lunch and snacks.
The cost for the day camp programs is $50 per session, with the exception of Horsemanship and extended day sessions, for which there are additional fees. All sessions are available on a first come, first served basis and youth may enroll in more than one session. Partial scholarships are available for those with financial need.
