National Society of Black Engineers FREE event for High School students Saturday

In case you know of anyone who has high school children in NSBE Jr, here is a little more information.

The Zone Summit this Saturday, October 4th from 9:30 am to 5 pm. The overall theme is Living the Mission: More than the HYPE, and this summit is FREE!

The high school students will have the opportunity to interact with the collegiate and professional members in our zone. We will be focusing on the regional directives, which are academic excellence, chapter empowerment, and community outreach.

The will be a panel specifically geared toward to high school students, a chance to learn more about NSBE, and prepare for the Fall Regional Conference. On top of all this, we will be doing technical outreach through volunteering.

The students will receive a light breakfast and lunch. Also, if it is not possible to stay all day, that is completely fine! I would love for the students to participate, even if it is only for a few hours. Here is the link to the registration page.
