CHESTER, Pa.— The Widener University Observatory resumes its public stargazing sessions on Friday, Sept. 5 at 8 p.m. All are invited to see the stars, planets and other celestial wonders using the observatory’s 12- and 16-inch computerized reflecting telescopes. Widener astronomy professors, with assistance from undergraduate students, will be on hand to offer assistance.
The viewings will run throughout the 2014-15 academic year on Monday nights and one Friday night a month.

The Widener University Observatory is located on the 5th floor of Kirkbride Hall on 17th and Walnut Streets in Chester, Pa.
