Local writer Kim L. Jennings of Chester won a February writing contest sponsored by Midlife Collage.
Ms. Jennings writes under the pen name K. J. Sharpe.
The local writer becomes an advocate for her adult son, who is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, in the short story “Re-Calculating.”
Readers are inspired by the strength of both mother and son in this first-place short story now on the Winner’s Circle page of www.midlifecollage.com.
